When coming up with what clients would identify my business with, I spent a good amount of time thinking what represents myself as an individual spirit AND what sets my business apart. Thus, the butterfly and Silver Glass were born. My spirit animal, if you will, is a butterfly. To me, the butterfly signifies whimsy, beauty, elegance, a wandering spirit, and a unique freedom. I want my clients to feel the freedom in their sessions to be who they are, to be unique. We are ever wandering spirits that look for beauty, timelessness, a sense of whimsy, and the elegance that we find like a tracery woven throughout our lives. Silver Glass is representative of quality, history, and taking the time and care to do things right. When photography was in its beginnings it was created using a process that included silver as one of its properties, standing for lasting quality. It took time, dedication, and care to create the most striking images. When you think of glass it is a window to look through or as a reflection, and also it's one of the mechanisms within a camera...the most important part. I want my art to be a window into the soul, a reflection into who you see in the photograph...a person where they are and who they are in that exact moment in time. For my clients, my friends in waiting, I want to capture memories for them that will last a lifetime, something they can tell stories about for generations to come.
